In planning our wedding, I knew that capturing the day on video was important. But the search for a videographer who was available and fit into the budget was yet one of the many things on my never ending to-do list. I quickly learned that choosing Wally turned out to be one of the most important choices I made. Of all the professionals that I dealt with in the planning, Wally was the only one who truly understood my sometimes boarderline crazy attention to detail.
Wally did so much more than just video the wedding. He had an intuitive sense of what my needs were throughout the entire day. He just knew when to unobtrusively fade into the background while still capturing the more intimate moments of the day. Yet, he also knew when to step forward and help orchestrate things when I was too preoccupied to. At one point I realized that we had missed taking some important pictures with family members after the photographer had left. Wally said "no porblem" and pulled out his digital camera to save the day. The highlight of our wedding was showing a 10 minute video that Wally had painstakingly made out of 100+ photos of my husbands and my childhood set to music. It was edited and timed perfectly and there wasn't a dry eye in the place. Speilburg look out!!!
It's now six months since our wedding and while all the professionals did their job, the one that stands out is Wally. People are still talking about Wally; how professional he was, how hard he worked, how fun he was and how he just seemed to fit in the the family. At the time of the wedding, it was like having my own personal assitant and now that the time has passed and memories begin to blurr, I am so happy to have this amazing video that captured every nuance of our special day.
